At the end of December 2003, a JV “Golan-Plast” (partnership of “Golan Plastic Products”, Israel with the third biggest Russian pipes production holding “Eurotrubplast”) was started in Moscow. The joint venture company produces PEX-a pipes and is responsible for marketing of “Golan Plastic Products” goods in Russia and CIS countries.

The product and its excellent properties have already been known to the local professionals and the advantages of the PEX-a pipes over the metal pipes have been obvious.
The main market of PEX pipes in Russia and CIS countries is in the central heating systems, which are prevalent in the country.
The production site arrangements were completed in a short time.
According to the plan, all the existing old infrastructures and equipment (such as supply of electricity, water, air, etc.) were replaced with new systems.
The work was done with the cooperation of the specialists from both companies.

The new PEX lines and support systems are already working successfully, manufacturing pipes in diameters of 50, 63, 75, 90, 110,140 and 160mm, including an oxygen barrier coating line and a special synthetic-fibers braiding machine for on-line reinforcement of PEX pipes .
Now everything is prepared to start the production of pipes size 16 up to 40mm.

We intend to tighten the cooperation with the Russian partners - “Eurotrubplast”, for a mutual research and development of product quality and production process.
