The repair of a leaking steel pipe, with a diameter of 12” that passes under the main road of the city of Carmiel, could well paralyze the traffic flow for several days.
This was exactly what the people of the water department in the municipality of Carmiel tried to prevent. Collaboration with the field service staff of Golan Plastic Products Ltd. made an optimum solution:
A 225 millimeters (8 inches ) PEXGOL pipe, 45m length, was inserted into the defective steel conduit pipe.

The pipe insertion and ends connection was finished in one working day, while the traffic continued to flow with no interruption.
