Solar water heating

Increased awareness regarding solar energy use has led to rising interest in solar hot water systems. These systems work by using sunlight to heat the water to a high temperature and then moving it to a collector. The solar-heated water flows through PEXGOL™ pipes from the collector to the point of use in the home. PEXGOL and MULTYGOL™ pipes can withstand temperatures above 100°C. Due to the hazard of very high temperature, the installation must always be in accordance with the PEXGOL and MULTYGOL installation manual.

In places where collectors are set up for producing electric energy from the sun, PEXGOL pipes are used for transporting a water flow used to cool down the system generating electricity from the sun.
